Privacy policy

WeGrow is operated by the WeGrow team; paid memberships are sold by Carlica Projects AB (Sweden), which is the data controller for member data. This page explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

  • Account data. When you sign in with TikTok (via our sign-in provider Clerk) we receive your display name, username and profile picture. We ask TikTok for two permissions: your basic profile info, and read access to your public profile so we can confirm that the @handle is yours. We can never post to your TikTok account and we do not receive your password.
  • Profile and activity. What you add to your WeGrow profile, the videos you link, and your community activity (points, likes, comments, shares, follows, invites).
  • Applications. If you submit a creator, WeGrow Live or partner application: the details you provide in the form, such as name, email, country, social usernames and uploaded material.
  • Payments. Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We receive your subscription status — never your card number.

How we use it

To run your account and profile, count Community Points fairly, process your membership, review applications, and contact you about relevant next steps. Creator profiles are published only after your explicit approval. We do not sell your information, and we never use it to rank the feed or the creator directory by membership.

Where it is stored

Member data is stored in a database in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany). We use a small number of processors to run the service: Clerk (sign-in), Stripe (payments), Neon (database) and Vercel (hosting). Profile pictures are loaded from your social platform via their public profile.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction of, portability of, or deletion of your information at any time — including disconnecting your TikTok account or deleting your WeGrow account entirely. Contact us and we will act on it. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).

No guarantees

WeGrow may decline applications. Applying does not guarantee membership, campaigns, income or exposure.
